When is that sticker actually due?
Pick the state and the month punched on the sticker. You'll see the expiry date, the early-inspection window where the state sets one, whether emissions applies, and you can drop a reminder into your calendar.

Due dates
How this is calculated
Expiry: stickers are treated as valid through the last day of the month shown. Some states (Texas, North Carolina) tie inspection to registration renewal instead. For those, enter the month on the renewal notice.
Early window: only shown where we've confirmed the state's rule. Pennsylvania allows inspection up to three months before expiry, and the new sticker keeps the same expiry month for the following year (PennDOT bulletin BI18-03). For other states, check with the state agency before inspecting early.
Next due: expiry plus the state's cadence (12 months, or 24 for biennial states).
Emissions: based on the state's program scope. In county-based states, it depends on where the vehicle is registered.
Reminder file: an .ics calendar file with an all-day event when the window opens (or 30 days before expiry when there's no defined window) and one on the expiry date.
Your shop shouldn't need a calculator for this.
GarageForge tracks every customer's sticker and sends inspection-due reminders automatically, so last year's customers come back to you instead of the shop down the road.
